2023 RCMC Washerfest Tournament & Chili Cookoff

The Washerfest Tournament is a great way to hang out with family, friends, and neighbors and raise money for good causes simultaneously.  Part competition, fundraiser, fellowship, chili cookoff… all fun!  This event supports the philanthropic efforts of the Rummel Creek Men’s Club with all proceeds going towards our priorities around Youth, Education, Neighbors in Need & Community Outreach.

Washerfest Info

Date:  Saturday, October 28, 2023
Where:  Plaza Oaks Pool on Brittmoore (just north of Queensbury)
Time:  Gates open at 11:00 am, lunch at 12:00pm, & matches begin at 1:00 pm
Format:  Blind draw, double elimination
Cost*:  $100 for member single entry; $150 for non-member single entry

*Entry fee includes an entry for one player in the washers tournament and also includes entry for the entire family inclusive of swimming (if weather permits), food, and beverage.

Chili Cookoff

Chili Cookoff:  $500* per team. 

When: Chili must be cooked onsite beginning the day of the event. Gates will open at 8 am.

Team: 5 people per team

Amount to cook: 5 lbs of chili should be prepared.

*The entry also includes a single entry for the team captain into the Washerfest Tournament.

Note:  Must be registered by October 19th to participate in the washers tournament!

Washers teams will be formed from a blind draw about one week prior to the event and first-round match-ups will be conducted by random draw.  Everyone is guaranteed two matches and side games will likely be formed for those that exit early.  The winning team will receive the Champions’ Jackets which will be on display at the event.  There will be a chili cookoff for lunch at noon.  Pizza will be served for dinner later in the day and swimming and activities for the kiddos will also be available throughout the afternoon.
